General Warehouse Associate

We are a small, family-owned e-commerce business specializing in DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, and video games. We sell across multiple online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Temu, TikTok, and our own website. Our Hemet warehouse has a small, family-oriented team. We are looking for a hard-working, dependable, and self-motivated individual to join our team as an E-commerce Associate for listing and shipping as well as disc checking physical media. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy and organization, and can maintain a consistent pace while performing repetitive tasks. Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, resurfacing, preparing, and listing DVDs, CDs, and video games for sale. Much of the work is performed independently and at your own pace, so self-motivation, attention to detail, and reliability are essential. You will be an important part of the process that ensures customers receive the correct, properly prepared, and accurately described products. Key Responsibilities Disc Checking & Preparation Open cases and verify that the correct disc is inside. Carefully inspect discs for scratches, damage, and overall condition. Clean discs and use resurfacing equipment when necessary. Re-case items as needed and ensure cases and discs are properly matched. Prepare products for listing, inventory, and shipment. Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the preparation process. Safely and efficiently handle inventory and warehouse materials. E-Commerce Listing Create and prepare product listings for online marketplaces. Accurately identify and label the correct item. Enter product information using basic computer and listing tools. Pay close attention to item details, condition, titles, and labeling. Learn and follow our established listing and inventory procedures. Properly prepare completed items for shipment. Shipping Pull inventory from shelves after it has sold Safely package item(s) for shipping, ensuring the correct item(s) are put with the order Properly purchase shipping labels What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can receive direction, understand the task, and work independently without constant supervision. You should be: Highly detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Hard-working and dependable. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a steady pace. A good communicator, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new software and listing tools. Able to follow instructions and established procedures. Willing to take initiative and solve routine problems independently. Comfortable working in a small, family-oriented team environment. Previous e-commerce, Amazon, eBay, or online marketplace listing experience is a plus, but not required. Physical & Warehouse Requirements This is an active warehouse position. Applicants must be comfortable with the following: Working around dust and older inventory — you must be willing to get your hands dirty. Working in a warehouse that can experience high temperatures during the summer and cold temperatures during the winter. Standing, moving, bending, reaching, and handling inventory throughout the workday. Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity. Required Qualifications Basic to advanced computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Good communication skills. Ability to learn new computer programs and listing tools.
