Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service excellence Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to build a high-performing retail team Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and purchasing to maintain optimal product availability Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures Utilize POS systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; handle cashiering duties as needed Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative environment Monitor store performance metrics; analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Supervise shift schedules, organize staffing coverage, and ensure smooth daily operations Support training & development initiatives to enhance team skills in sales techniques and product knowledge String Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervisory or assistant manager roles Strong knowledge of retail sales strategies, inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising principles Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and team development Skilled in managing operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service Experience with retail math concepts such as pricing strategies and sales analysis Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, cash handling, and store maintenance Strong time management skills; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting Join us as a General Store Manager if you’re passionate about leading teams to success while creating memorable shopping experiences.
