Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a General Sales Associate. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our dealership, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and expert advice on automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication. Assist customers in selecting automotive parts, accessories, and related products that meet their requirements. Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and repair procedures. Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves accurately, conducting inventory control, and utilizing automotive parts management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly. Build lasting customer relationships through personalized service, follow-up communication, and client engagement strategies. Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives, order fulfillment, and promotional activities to boost sales performance. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments with a focus on automotive parts or accessories preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and automotive repair knowledge to assist customers effectively. Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is a plus. Familiarity with inventory management tools such as CMMS or similar software; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive systems is highly desirable. Ability to handle cashiering responsibilities accurately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards. Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment processes, and maintain a clean, organized sales area.
