Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented General Manager to lead the daily operations of our travel plaza. This role involves overseeing staff management, customer service excellence, inventory control, and operational efficiency to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality and retail management. Duties Lead and supervise the retail sales team, ensuring high levels of customer service and sales performance Manage daily store operations including cashiering, POS systems, inventory management, and merchandising Oversee purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize profitability Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to foster a motivated and skilled team Handle employee orientation, payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy Implement operational procedures aligned with company standards and safety regulations Monitor sales metrics and manage shift schedules to optimize store performance and customer satisfaction Experience Proven management experience in retail or hospitality environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles Excellent negotiation, communication, and managerial skills with the ability to lead diverse teams Experience in recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation processes Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, and handle cash operations accurately Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Prior experience in retail industry sales team management or retail store product knowledge is preferred Join us as a General Manager at Onvo Travel Plaza to lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences while driving operational excellence!
