General Manager - Retail-Nutritional Pharmacy

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our Retail-Nutritional Pharmacy. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, ensure exceptional client service, and manage a team of dedicated staff. Your leadership will foster a positive environment and optimize concern and care for both clients and staff. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure a motivated and high-performing team. Manage purchasing decisions, inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels. Supervise shift management, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting activities. Oversee a functioning interactive website. Oversee the production of a weekly newsletter. Fostering a positive work environment through compassionate communication and leadership skills. Proven management experience in retail sales. Familiarity with nutritional & herbal supplements, and homeopathic medicines is a plus. Familiarity with health-related retail environments is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. We are a small business, (a staff of 4-6 people, some full timers, some part timers) in existence for 40 years. We are looking for someone who can take the lead immediately.
