General Manager II

Overview Overview The General Manager II oversees a high-volume ecommerce site, ensuring operational excellence in distribution, fulfillment, and/or transportation. This role is accountable for achieving performance goals, managing P&L, and driving process improvements while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The General Manager II develops high-performing teams and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as the primary liaison between facility operations and corporate leadership, the incumbent champions company initiatives and delivers superior service across all managed sites. Primary Responsibilities: Direct daily operations across all supply chain functions, ensuring alignment with company performance standards and customer commitments. Manage facility P&L, develop budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement cost control measures to drive profitability and operational efficiency. Recruit, train, and mentor facility staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards. Coordinate with corporate teams (HR, IT, Transportation, Inventory, Loss Prevention) to support business objectives and resolve operational challenges. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality, resolving escalations, and supporting customer-facing initiatives. Education and Experience: Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Area of Study: Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred) Minimum Years of Experience: 7 Type of Experience: 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management, with at least 3 years in a multi-functional or leadership role Special Certifications: OSHA, or other relevant certifications preferred Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Proficiency in WMS, TMS, OMS, MS Office; experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies preferred Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to drive change Personal Attributes & Other/Preferred: Results-driven, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to core values About The ODP Group : The ODP Group, through its business entities ODP Business Solutions and Office Depot, is a leading provider of products, services, and technology solutions through an integrated business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform and omnichannel presence, which includes world-class supply chain and distribution operations, dedicated sales professionals, online presence, and a network of Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $150,000/year to $180,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
