General Manager — 3PL & Warehouse Operations

B&C Logistics is looking for a hands-on 3PL operations leader to run and strengthen operations across two Chicago-area warehouse facilities. This role is situated at our DeKalb location. This is a newly created leadership role with real ownership. You’ll lead the managers, run day-to-day warehouse performance, and build the processes, accountability, and operating structure B&C needs to scale. We need someone who knows warehouse operations firsthand, stays close to the floor, develops strong managers, and knows how to turn a growing operation into a disciplined, scalable one. What You'll Own Operations across two warehouse facilities Warehouse and department managers Safety, service, quality, inventory, labor, productivity, and cost Receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control SOPs, scorecards, operating rhythms, and accountability Process improvement and operational problem-solving Capacity planning and new customer implementations The Bar You must bring: 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or logistics operations experience Hands-on 3PL experience in contract warehousing, fulfillment, or value-added services 3+ years leading managers or department leaders Experience overseeing complex, multi-site warehouse operations A track record of improving processes, developing leaders, and holding teams accountable If you haven't worked directly in 3PL warehouse operations, this won't be the right fit.
