General Labourer/Forklift Operator

Duties & Responsibilities: Assist shop mechanics with minor equipment repairs Keep an orderly cross-dock warehouse Load and unload trailers Shunt 53' trailers as needed Keep service bays clean and free of fluid spills, scrap metals and free from hazards Safely drain, store and label waste fluids within environmental guidelines Clean, grease and grime off axles, brake drums & fifth wheels Assist with stacking, dismounting, cleaning and staging commercial truck tires and rims Receive and unload parts deliveries Assist in maintaining adequate inventory Other warehouse and shop duties as needed Qualifications & Skills: OSSD Valid G license Experience in mechanics / truck shops (asset) Forklift license or experience (training can be provided) Reliablility and independent drive Team Hours: Monday - Friday: 8AM-5PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: Ingleside, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Warehouse: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Class G Licence (required) Forklift Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
