General Laborer-Warehouse Cleanup (3-6 weeks temporary position)

Overview We are looking to bring on two qualified and dedicated individuals to our temporary clean up/clean out job located in Vassar, 48768. This main position is temporary, but it does come with opportunity for advancement or being invited to join future projects. Our ideal candidate is looking for fast work, or possibly has a current part time job with enough open hours per week to facilitate this job. Duties Work inside of a warehouse facility doing miscellaneous custodial and general labor tasks, such as cleaning or assembling items Work outside of warehouse facility grounds, maintaining landscaping, assisting a crew run heavy machinery Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitation Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or debris while adhering to safe lifting practices Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repair needs or safety hazards promptly Use cleaning equipment efficiently and responsibly while following safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially with commercial or industrial cleaning tasks Previous experience on a general labor crew helpful Must enjoy being on your feet and working with your hands Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices at all times Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures is a plus Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good communication skills to listen to your team lead and report when you uncover an issue This position offers an energetic work environment where your efforts directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of our warehouse operations.
