The successful candidate will communicate with carriers, warehouse teams, customers, and vendors to help ensure shipments move efficiently and arrive on schedule. The ideal applicant has strong problem-solving skills, accurate recordkeeping abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Coordinate shipment schedules, transportation arrangements, and delivery updates. Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouse personnel, vendors, and customers. Track shipments and follow up on delays, delivery changes, and other transportation issues. Maintain accurate shipping documents, delivery records, and logistics reports. Monitor order status and help ensure timely pickup and delivery. Assist with inventory coordination and warehouse scheduling. Investigate shipping discrepancies and help resolve operational problems. Enter shipment information into transportation management systems and company databases. Prepare routine reports and provide status updates to relevant team members. Follow company procedures and applicable shipping and safety requirements. Required Skills Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accurate data-entry abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and general office software. Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and meet deadlines. Effective problem-solving and customer service skills. Previous logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain experience is preferred. Familiarity with inventory systems or transportation management software is an advantage.
