The Career ClubGeneral Laborer – Chicken Processing & Warehouse We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our dynamic chicken processing and warehouse team. This is a full-time morning shift position, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM . The work environment is cold and may have strong chicken/food odors , so applicants must be comfortable working in these conditions. Only Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) are eligible to apply. In this role, you will support daily warehouse and distribution operations, including loading, unloading, order preparation, shipping and receiving, inventory support, and general manual labor. Job Details Industry: Chicken / Food Processing & Distribution Position: General Laborer Shift: Morning shift Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Time: 7:00 AM Work Environment: Cold environment with strong chicken/food odors Eligibility: Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) only Responsibilities Load and unload shipments safely. Assist with order picking, packing, and preparation of customer orders. Move materials and products safely within the facility. Support shipping and receiving activities by checking incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas. Assist with inventory management and product tracking. Perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding manual-labor duties as required. Follow workplace health, safety, food-handling, and sanitation procedures. Work effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors. Requirements Previous warehouse, distribution, food-processing, or logistics experience is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work on a regular basis. Ability and willingness to work in a cold environment with strong chicken/food odors . Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an asset. Construction or experience handling heavy materials is an asset. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and workplace safety standards. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) to apply. What We Offer Full-time Monday-to-Friday schedule.
