General Helper

Overview The General Helper supports day-to-day warehouse distribution by assisting with order picking, shipping and receiving, and moving materials safely. This hands-on role helps keep goods flowing and supports colleagues in completing orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities Pick and prepare orders using an order picker and warehouse management system; check items and records for accuracy. Load and unload deliveries, assist with shipping and receiving, and organize materials for distribution. Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment as assigned, following safe work practices. Perform heavy lifting and general support tasks; apply mechanical knowledge to help maintain an orderly work area. Qualifications Driver License is a requirement! Required: Practical ability to follow instructions, handle materials safely, perform heavy lifting, and support loading, unloading, and order picking. Preferred: Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, or use of a warehouse management system; mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and familiarity with order pickers, forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment are advantageous.
