As a member of the Americas ITO Logistics team, you will be an active contributor to early-stage logistics planning, transportation strategy development, and cost estimating for large-scale power generation and electrification projects, helping build safe, competitive, and executable logistics solutions.
Job Description
As a Americas Inbound Flow Logistics Intern, you will:
- Execute Tableau reporting activities daily.
- Learn and apply key elements associated with Tableau and define the relationship between OTM fields and Tableau reporting.
- Support the understanding of transportation transactions and execution associated with OTM entries.
- Identify Work Bench applications within OTM to support logistics management and 4PL execution.
- Develop reports aligned with the chronological flow of shipment management and execution, including order release, shipment tender, tender acceptance, carrier feedback, carrier pick up, carrier delivery, and EDI/POD systems.
- Define and write work instructions, scopes of work (SOWs), and supporting process documentation using tools such as Word, pivot tables, and Quality Management Systems.
- Help standardize and develop tools, templates, and databases, including updates to logistics SOWs.
- Identify process efficiencies and automation opportunities to reduce deviation from standards.
- Develop visual management tools to improve process visibility and daily workload management.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, pivot tables, Excel formulas, Smart Sheets, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete data.
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working with limited supervision.

- You are someone who brings curiosity, a system-oriented mindset, and a strong interest in logistics operations.
- You have experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Transportation Management systems.
- You have an interest in transportation/logistics and energy infrastructure.
- You have an interest in cross-functional collaboration, freight strategy execution, and carrier or freight forwarder risk analysis.
