Gate Yard Clerk – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gate Yard Clerk to support daily yard and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking in and checking out trucks, verifying driver and trailer information, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with yard personnel to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in and out of the facility. We are hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts . Candidates must have strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Available Shifts 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM | $19.00 per hour 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:45 PM | $19.00 per hour 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:45 AM | $19.00 per hour Responsibilities Check in and check out incoming and outgoing drivers. Verify driver credentials, trailer numbers, load information, and other required documentation. Record truck and trailer movements accurately in the system. Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and yard hostlers regarding trailer locations and movements. Maintain accurate gate logs and complete required paperwork. Monitor yard traffic and follow facility security procedures. Report discrepancies, safety concerns, or unauthorized access to management. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with drivers and visitors. Qualifications Previous experience as a gate clerk, yard clerk, shipping and receiving clerk, or in a similar role preferred. Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work the assigned shift, including overnight hours for 3rd shift. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour for all shifts. Employment Type: Full-Time.
