Performance Logic, Inc.Overview As a Gate Clerk, you’ll help keep warehouse traffic and shipments moving smoothly. You’ll verify arrivals and departures, record shipment details, and coordinate with warehouse teams, drivers, and customers. Your accuracy and customer service will support safe, organized warehouse operations and dependable order fulfillment. Duties Check in drivers and visitors, confirm shipment paperwork, and direct vehicles to the appropriate areas. Record inbound and outbound loads through a warehouse management system, inventory management software, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system; use AS400 or material requirements planning (MRP) tools when applicable. Enter and verify shipment, inventory, and order data using Microsoft Office and an RF (radio frequency) scanner. Coordinate shipping and receiving, shipping logistics, warehouse distribution, and trade compliance, following applicable international trade regulations. Support inventory management, stocking, packaging, picking and packing, and load and unload tasks; operate a pallet jack, order picker, or forklift when trained and authorized. Your impact: Accurate gate records help warehouse teams manage inventory and help drivers and customers receive clear, timely shipment updates. Requirements Basic math, careful data entry, clear communication, and a customer-focused approach. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, logistics, order picking, and order fulfillment is preferred. Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 is helpful; willingness to learn applicable systems is important. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, RF scanners, shipping and receiving, and trade documentation is an asset. Ability to safely perform relevant material-handling tasks; forklift experience is preferred, and equipment must be operated only when trained and authorized.
