Furniture Mover - Transitions Team Member

Job Summary: Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA, is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving furniture for residential clients - among other things described below. The ideal candidate is physically capable to lift and move large items, customer-service oriented, seeking flexible hours, and enjoys hands-on work. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience. Responsibilities: Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture Potentially operate company vehicles and equipment Communicate professionally with clients and the Transition Team Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools Follow safety guidelines and company policies Requirements: Must be able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor 18 years old with a valid driver's license and ability to travel to job locations Experience in junk removal, moving, or a similar labor-intensive job is a plus Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills Must satisfy a pre-employment background check after offer of employment is accepted Benefits: Flexible scheduling options Friendly and supportive team environment If you’re ready to join a great team and rewarding work environment assisting seniors and their families during transitions, apply today!
