Furniture Mover – Home Staging Company

Job Summary Pragmatic Staging is a privately held home staging company based in Chantilly, Virginia, serving the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We specialize in high-quality home staging services for residential and multifamily properties. We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Furniture Movers to join our team. Movers play an essential role in preparing properties for the real estate market by safely transporting, loading, unloading, and placing furniture and décor in staged homes. The ideal candidate is physically capable, organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous moving, delivery, or warehouse experience is preferred. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, artwork, décor, and staging materials from company trucks. Safely transport furniture and inventory between the warehouse and residential properties. Place furniture and staging items according to the staging team's direction. Protect furniture, walls, floors, and property during moving and installation. Wrap, pad, secure, and handle furniture properly to prevent damage. Assist with furniture pickup, removal, and relocation between properties. Organize, maintain, and return furniture and décor to designated warehouse areas. Assist with loading trucks and organizing inventory for daily projects. Work closely with the warehouse crew, drivers, and staging team to complete projects on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment. Follow company procedures for inventory handling, equipment use, and job-site safety. Provide professional and courteous service while working in clients' homes and properties. Qualifications Previous moving, furniture delivery, warehouse, or labor experience preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy furniture and staging materials safely. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day. Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Careful handling of furniture, décor, and client properties. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily project deadlines. Valid driver's license and experience driving a moving truck are a plus. Must be able to commute to Chantilly, VA. Must be willing to work in person at the warehouse and various job sites throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
