JOB DESCRIPTION: Loading & Unloading cargo, such as: furniture, palletized items/tile, household items Ensure all inbound freight is received, inspected, and stowed within 24 hours of receiving merchandise Inventory Control by use of a WMS tracker and hand scanner Delivery & Home Staging with Client/Customer Interaction Assemble and disassemble, beds, tables, chairs etc. Drive Company fleet vehicles, up to a Commercial 26’ box truck with lift-gate Obeying and following applicable traffic laws Long-distance driving occasionally Complete and verify all paperwork and delivery merchandise for accuracy Keep work areas and fleet clean and operating properly Light furniture touch-up and repairs Engage in best-in-class customer service Ensure meticulous oversite of property, both inside and out Covid-19 considerations in applicable locations to keep our employees and clients safe, masks, gloves, and social distancing may be required and is mandatory. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Able to pass Drug and Background Screening Valid Driver’s License Positive Attitude Dependability Clean driving record, No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years Ability to lift/move items repeatedly 80lbs+ Ability to work in heat, humidity conditions 60-90% of the day Forklift experience (preferred) Eye for detail and thorough, thoughtful approach to work-related duties Excellent written and verbal communications skills; professional presentation Proficient in WMS systems Ability to inspire teamwork cooperation at all levels Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate Creative problem solver; curious mind; innovator EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent 3 yrs+ of delivery & moving experience Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Work Days: Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate: Saint Petersburg, FL 33711: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
