Furniture Home Delivery Helper

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Home Delivery Helper and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers! In this energetic role, you'll assist with the safe and efficient delivery of furniture directly to customers’ homes. Your mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and enthusiasm will help ensure each delivery is smooth, safe, and exceeds expectations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop field service expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This set pay is $160+ per day, plus tips, as well as opportunities to pull in extra tips and side jobs. *Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening* *Must have your own car and be able to commute to and from work sites* *Clean driving record required and a copy of MVR* Duties Assist delivery drivers in safely loading, unloading, and maneuvering furniture. Some travel required. Furniture assembly. Ensure all pieces are handled with care to prevent damage during transit and setup. Maintain safety protocols during all phases of delivery. Daily local route, home the same day. Days start early and deliveries must be completed each day. Must be dependable, and have reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to tolerate heat. Experience Prior experience as a delivery helper or in field service roles involving furniture assembly, and moving is preferred. Experience in furniture installation and assembly enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Customer service experience that demonstrates clear communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles is advantageous. Hands-on experience with service technician tasks related to furniture and assembly will set you apart.
