FURNITURE DELIVERY HELPER – OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE TO DRIVER

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our furniture delivery team. This position starts as a Furniture Delivery Helper working alongside an experienced Lead Driver. You will assist with delivering, unloading, assembling, and setting up furniture in customers’ homes throughout the delivery area. We are not just looking for someone to carry furniture. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the operation, prove themselves, and potentially grow into a Driver position with the opportunity to lead their own delivery team. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Lead Driver with daily residential furniture deliveries Load and unload furniture safely Carry furniture into customers’ homes Assist with furniture assembly, setup, and placement Help protect customers’ floors, walls, doorways, and property during deliveries Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers Follow delivery procedures and instructions from the Lead Driver Help keep the truck, equipment, and work area clean and organized Work efficiently as part of a two-person delivery team WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse in Ellabell, GA Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture throughout the workday Professional appearance and attitude Strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction Good communication and customer service skills Team-oriented mindset Interest in growing into a larger role within the operation Valid driver’s license preferred for candidates interested in future advancement Previous furniture delivery, moving, appliance delivery, warehouse, assembly, or similar experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, motivated, physically capable of doing the work, and serious about the opportunity. COMPENSATION & GROWTH OPPORTUNITY Helper Pay: Starting at $150 per day. This position also provides an opportunity to learn the complete delivery operation while working directly alongside an experienced Lead Driver. During your time as a Helper, you will be evaluated on: Attendance and punctuality Work ethic and attitude Ability to follow instructions Safe handling of furniture and customer property Customer service and professionalism Teamwork and communication Ability to learn the complete delivery operation Leadership potential and readiness for additional responsibility Candidates who consistently demonstrate strong performance, reliability, professionalism, safe work habits, and the ability to handle greater responsibility may be considered for advancement into a Driver position. Qualified team members who successfully complete training and are approved for advancement may have the opportunity to move into a Driver position starting around $200 per day, with the potential to earn more depending on route volume, performance, experience, and additional responsibilities. Once promoted, the goal is for the new Driver to eventually lead their own delivery team with a Helper assigned to work alongside them. Advancement is based on performance, reliability, readiness, driving qualifications, business needs, and management approval. Promotion is not automatic or guaranteed.
