Furniture Delivery Helper

Job Overview As a Furniture Delivery Helper, you’ll work alongside a delivery driver to move furniture safely from the warehouse or vehicle into customers’ homes. You’ll help load and unload deliveries, protect items and property, and provide courteous service throughout each stop. This active role calls for teamwork, careful manual handling, and a strong focus on safe lifting practices. Duties Load and unload furniture, secure items for transport, and assist with warehouse operations and order preparation. Help deliver furniture by box truck; support route driving and use mobile devices to follow delivery details. Carry, position, and assemble items as assigned, using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate. Communicate clearly with customers, answer basic delivery questions, and represent the team with professional customer service. Follow safe lifting practices, workplace weight-handling procedures, traffic regulations, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery support help customers receive their furniture safely and on schedule. Qualifications Ability to perform heavy lifting, moving, and other physical tasks while following safe manual-handling procedures. Delivery driver, courier, warehouse, or warehouse experience is helpful; experience with delivery driving, personal vehicle delivery, or commercial driving is a plus. Familiarity with box trucks, truck driving; a valid driver’s license may be required for driving duties. Comfortable using mobile devices and working with pallet jacks or other material handling equipment; equipment experience is preferred. Able to work collaboratively, communicate respectfully, and follow instructions while adhering to traffic regulations and applicable DOT rules. Pay: $750.00 per week Work Location: On the road
