Full-Time Yard/Warehouse Person

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse/Yard Associate to join our Kamloops branch! You will be on your feet throughout the day, working both indoors and outdoors, supporting customers, picking and preparing orders, receiving product, operating equipment, and keeping the warehouse and yard organized and safe. ling, and preparing customer orders from inventory Loading and unloading trucks, shipments, and customer orders Receiving product and putting inventory away accurately Handling pipe, fittings, and other warehouse/yard materials Assisting customers in the yard or warehouse as needed Operating a forklift or other equipment safely Keeping the warehouse, yard, and product areas clean, organized, and safe Working outdoors in different weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold 50% picking, pulling, and preparing customer orders ~20% yard/warehouse organization, cleanup, and general branch support What Will Help You Succeed You will be successful in this role if you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and work well with both customers and team members. Previous experience in warehouse, yard, construction, trades, industrial, landscaping, logistics, or similar environments is an asset. This is a busy branch environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.
Some days will involve heavy customer traffic, multiple orders, outdoor work, equipment use, and changing demands. We will provide training and support, but we are looking for someone who is ready for physical work, willing to learn, and committed to being part of a team that serves customers well. Providing excellent service to customers and team members Paying attention to detail and accuracy when picking, receiving, and documenting orders Supporting a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard Communicating clearly with your manager, teammates, and customers High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1+ year of related experience in warehouse, yard, shipping/receiving, construction, industrial, distribution, logistics, or a similar hands-on environment Forklift experience;
certification is an asset Comfort handling larger or awkward materials safely Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Base Pay: $23.50 - $24.50 Hourly.
