Full-Time Yard Mule / Spotter Driver

ATTENTION YARD SPOTTERS & MULE DRIVERS This is strictly a YARD MULE / SPOTTER position inside our local terminal yard. If you are looking for OTR, regional, or standard CDL route driving, this is NOT the position for you. We are hiring an experienced, high-efficiency Yard Mule Driver to manage trailer movements, container positioning, and terminal yard organization. If you know how to back tight spaces fast, keep container lines organized, and stay on top of yard flow without breaking a sweat, we want you on the team. What You’ll Be Doing: Yard Spotting & Trailer Movements: Safely move, spot, and stash trailers and intermodal containers throughout the terminal. Precision Parking: Back, organize, and line up equipment in designated lanes with zero margin for error. Yard Inventory & Flow: Maintain proper staging for incoming and outgoing loads, ensuring high-priority containers stay accessible. Pre-Trip & Yard Safety: Conduct rapid daily inspections on the yard tractor and check pin hooks, landing gear, and glad hands. Dispatch Communication: Work directly with terminal dispatchers to execute real-time moves cleanly and on schedule. What We’re Looking For: REQUIRED: Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable Yard Mule / Yard Spotter experience. Expert Backing Skills: Ability to maneuver 53' trailers and containers into tight spaces quickly and safely. Reliability: Punctual, focused, and comfortable working outdoors in all local weather conditions. Communication: Ability to follow clear terminal directions and maintain accurate yard logs.
