Full Time Store Warehouse Associate
Colfax FurnitureDescription – Receives incoming merchandise from the Distribution Center and prepares it to be moved to the floor. Makes certain that customer pickups are handled quickly, accurately and courteously. Keeps the store warehouse clean and orderly. Verifies incoming and outgoing merchandise, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Inspects physical condition of merchandise before it is moved to the sales floor or released to the customer. Maintains accurate records of activities. Makes certain that all warehouse equipment is secure and in good repair. Supervision –Reports to the Store Warehouse Manager. Education – No specific educational requirement. Experience – No specific experience requirement in a warehouse setting. Equipment – Operates pallet jack, dollies, hand trucks and other warehouse equipment. Working Conditions – The job is indoors in a warehouse, which may or may not be heated or air-conditioned. Job requires a significant amount of standing, lifting, walking and carrying.
