Full-Time Store Associate - Growth Opportunity

Job Description M&H True Value is a locally owned hardware store in Rock Valley, Iowa, and we're looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team full-time. We're looking for more than someone to run a cash register or stock shelves. We want someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work, and is interested in learning how a hardware store operates. This is a hands-on position with a wide variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to grow into a leadership or management role in the future. No hardware or retail experience is required. We're willing to train the right person! Responsibilities Greet customers, answer questions, and help them find solutions to their projects. Keep store shelves stocked, organized, and looking their best. Move merchandise from warehouse overstock to the sales floor. Assist with unloading freight and putting away merchandise. Learn inventory management, merchandise ordering, and our point-of-sale system. Operate the cash register and assist with daily store operations. Assist customers in our rental department. Complete special projects and help improve store operations. Take on additional responsibilities as skills and experience develop. What We're Looking For A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine desire to help customers. Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude. Someone who takes initiative and can work independently. Willingness to learn about hardware, tools, and home improvement products. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability to work some Saturdays. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred, but not required. What We Offer $17–$19 per hour, depending on qualifications. Full-time employment with a consistent schedule.
