Floral Operations & Delivery Associate - Mill Valley Flowers | Mill Valley, California Starting at $20/hour + Medical Benefits + Bonus + Transportation Premium About Us Mill Valley Flowers is a family-owned floral and event design business proudly serving Marin County since 1990. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, hardworking individual to join our team! This is a hands-on position combining flower shop operations, deliveries, and occasional event support. No previous floral or delivery experience is necessary — we are happy to train the right person! We provide a company van for all deliveries , so you do not need to use your personal vehicle for work but you will need experience driving a medium size van. Flower Processing & Shop Support Assist processor on market days Hydrate and maintain flowers and floral arrangements. Help keep the flower shop, cooler, and design studio clean and organized. Restock supplies and assist wherever needed. Help with opening and closing the retail shop. Sweep, clean, and maintain work areas. 2. Deliveries & Driving Safely and professionally drive our company Mercedes Metris cargo van. Deliver flowers and arrangements throughout Marin County. Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery. Navigate residential streets, hills, stairs, and challenging delivery locations, including Mount Tamalpais. Transport flowers, vases, supplies, and equipment between our retail shop, design studio, and event locations. 3. Event Support Help load and unload the company van. Assist with event setup and breakdown. Transport and place floral arrangements and event décor. Occasionally work evenings and weekends for special events. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, kind, and positive. Hardworking, dependable, and punctual. A genuine team player with a strong work ethic. Comfortable interacting with customers. Physically capable and energetic. Comfortable being on your feet most of the day. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing stairs and making deliveries to difficult locations. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Willing to learn and work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Requirements: Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Comfortable driving a company cargo van. Own cell phone for work-related communication (compensation available). Ability to work mornings and occasional evenings and weekends. No floral experience necessary. We will train you! What matters most is reliability, honesty, kindness, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Schedule Full-time position, approximately 36 to 40 hours per week. Typically 5–7 hours per day, approximately 6 days per week. Schedule varies depending on deliveries, holidays, and events. Some evenings and weekends required. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20 per hour after 3 months pay increase review Medical insurance: Mill Valley Flowers pays 50% of the employee's premium. Year-end bonus. Transportation premium: Additional $1 per hour for employees commuting from more than 12 miles away. Company van provided for all work-related deliveries.
