Full Time Flatbed Tow Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our team as a full-time Flatbed Tow Truck Driver and put your driving and mechanical skills to work helping motorists get back on the road. You’ll operate a flatbed tow truck, respond to service calls, and transport vehicles with care. This role calls for safe driving, clear communication, and steady judgment in changing roadside conditions. Duties Respond to calls for car towing and vehicle recovery towing; assess the vehicle and situation before choosing a safe approach. Load and unload vehicles onto the flatbed, following safe vehicle loading practices and cargo securement protocols. Drive commercial trucks safely, including complete assigned vehicle transports. Provide customer service, explain the recovery process, and use conflict management skills to handle concerns professionally. Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical vehicle repair when appropriate; document work and report issues. Your impact: Careful loading and secure transport help protect customers’ vehicles and support safer roadside recoveries. Requirements - To be considered for this role, you should have Must have a clean driving record with no violations. 7 year MVR required. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check. Must Possess a valid D.O.T. CARD. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must have 2 years flatbed/wheel lift experience. Must be able to work Monday through Sunday from 12pm - 12am Skills Ability to learn and adapt to our training Ability to follow instructions given by dispatch and management Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations ( RUSH HOUR) Familiarity with local roads and GPS device Demonstrated commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience; flatbed experience is an asset. Mechanical knowledge, automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or mechanic experience is preferred. Ability to apply vehicle mechanics knowledge, troubleshoot basic issues, and perform minor repairs within your skills. Familiarity with safe vehicle loading, load and unload procedures, and cargo securement protocols. Strong driving judgment, customer service, and conflict management skills; able to communicate calmly with customers and work safely in roadside conditions.
