Company: Lightning Deliveries Job Type: Full-Time Contract to Full-Time Employee (90 Days) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – Approximately 2:00 PM Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour, paid biweekly Estimated Biweekly Earnings: $1,615 gross based on 45 paid hours per week, including applicable overtime. What You Can Expect A consistent Monday–Friday route assignment Early morning schedule beginning at 5:00 AM Company-provided delivery van and route fuel Predictable biweekly payroll A paid 90-day introductory and performance evaluation period Formal performance and compensation review after 90 days Health and dental benefits eligibility after 90 days, subject to plan terms Opportunities for additional responsibilities as Lightning Deliveries grows Your Responsibilities Arrive on time and be prepared to begin the assigned route at 5:00 AM Safely operate a company-provided delivery van Complete daily pickups and deliveries accurately and efficiently Follow assigned delivery schedules and customer service requirements Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation Perform basic pre-trip vehicle safety inspections Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route issues, or emergencies Handle packages and delivery equipment safely Maintain a professional appearance and represent Lightning Deliveries positively Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license Acceptable motor vehicle driving record for the previous five years, meeting company and insurance safety requirements Ability to pass a background screening consistent with applicable laws Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment drug and alcohol screening requirements Consistent availability Monday through Friday, beginning at 5:00 AM Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with a delivery route Reliable transportation to the assigned starting location Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills Previous delivery, courier, logistics, or commercial driving experience preferred Your First 90 Days Every new driver begins with a paid 90-day introductory period designed to establish a strong foundation for long-term success. During this time, we evaluate: Attendance and punctuality Safe and responsible driving Route completion and delivery accuracy Communication and professionalism Dependability and overall performance At the conclusion of the introductory period, drivers receive a formal performance and compensation review.
