Duties Safely operate commercial vehicle van to deliver arrangements to customers’ locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods following safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to maximize productivity and punctuality. Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Assist with shop duties when not delivering orders Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving delivery driving, warehouse experience, or commercial driving Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively during deliveries. Experience operating mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation.
