Local Package Delivery Driver — Cargo Van Company: MNH Logistics Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Location: Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas Pay: $140 per day / approximately $700 per 5-day workweek Schedule: Route-based schedule; availability and punctuality are required MNH Logistics is currently hiring reliable, professional, and safety-focused Local Package Delivery Drivers to operate company cargo vans and complete local delivery routes. This position is best for someone who is dependable, communicates well, follows instructions, and is comfortable working independently throughout the day. Job Responsibilities Drivers will be responsible for: Operating an MNH Logistics company cargo van safely and professionally Picking up and delivering packages to assigned locations Arriving to the pickup location on time Completing assigned routes within the required delivery window Following GPS and route instructions Communicating with dispatch and management throughout the route Remaining attentive to your phone during active deliveries for route updates and instructions Reporting delays, traffic, vehicle concerns, accidents, or delivery issues immediately Scanning packages correctly when required Returning undelivered packages according to company instructions Keeping all paperwork and receipts organized until the route is completed or management instructs otherwise Performing basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks Reporting vehicle warning lights, unusual noises, tire issues, damage, or maintenance concerns Keeping the cargo van clean and organized Taking required photos or documentation when instructed Pay Local package delivery drivers are paid: $140 per assigned delivery day A standard 5-day workweek would equal approximately: $700 per week Pay is issued through the company’s regular payroll schedule. Schedule & Availability Applicants must understand that this is a route-based transportation position. Drivers must: Be available for assigned workdays Arrive on time and ready to work Maintain reliable communication Keep their phone accessible during active routes Notify management immediately if an emergency affects their ability to report for work Be flexible when route times change Some routes may finish earlier or later depending on package volume, traffic, delivery conditions, and customer requirements. Attendance & Punctuality MNH Logistics depends heavily on drivers showing up when scheduled. Drivers are expected to: Arrive on time for every assigned route Communicate before the scheduled start time if there is an emergency Avoid no-call/no-show incidents Follow company attendance and punctuality policies Repeated lateness, failure to communicate, or missed assignments may result in fewer route assignments or disciplinary action. Driver Requirements Applicants must: Have a valid driver’s license Have a safe and acceptable driving record Be eligible to be added to the company’s commercial auto insurance policy Be comfortable driving a cargo van Be comfortable driving on highways and local roads Be able to use GPS/navigation applications Have a working smartphone Be able to remain reachable during active deliveries Be able to lift, carry, load, and unload packages as required Be able to enter and exit a cargo van repeatedly throughout the day Be able to work independently Follow company policies and customer-specific delivery procedures Maintain a professional attitude with customers, stores, warehouses, dispatchers, and management Vehicle Knowledge Basic vehicle knowledge is strongly appreciated . Drivers should be able to recognize and report issues such as: Low tire pressure Warning lights Unusual engine noises Fluid leaks Tire damage Brake concerns Vehicle damage Maintenance needs Drivers are not expected to perform major mechanical repairs, but they must communicate vehicle concerns immediately.
