Full Time Convenience Store Clerk

Duties Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly Handle cash drawer operations with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate cash records Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote featured products and seasonal items Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cash register operations, or retail sales is preferred Supervising experience in a retail environment is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional phone manner Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and stock management Experience in stocking, inventory management, or retail math is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards upselling and product promotion Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while enjoying opportunities for growth in a fast-paced retail setting!
