Full Time Assistant Manager

Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation. Supervise cashiering activities, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers. Coordinate employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and schedule shifts effectively. Support recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence. Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Prior experience with purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting is advantageous.
