Fulfillment Pharmacist | $60–$62/hr | Full-Time | Monday–Friday Boothwyn Pharmacy – Kennett Square, PA Pay: $60.00–$62.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Overview Boothwyn Pharmacy is seeking a skilled and motivated Fulfillment Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment, values accuracy and patient safety, and understands the importance of regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily prescription fulfillment operations and pharmacy personnel during assigned shifts. Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable regulations. Ensure prescriptions are accurately processed, prepared, labeled, documented, and dispensed according to prescriber instructions and patient requirements. Perform final pharmacist verification of prescription orders prior to dispensing and shipment. Ensure fulfillment activities comply with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide pharmacist oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians and fulfillment personnel. Assist with prescription packaging, shipping, and handling activities as needed. Review patient medication profiles for potential drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, dosage concerns, and other medication-related issues. Communicate with prescribers, patients, healthcare professionals, and internal departments to resolve prescription-related questions or concerns. Provide patient counseling and education regarding prescription medications, compounded preparations, and over-the-counter products as appropriate. Maintain accurate prescription records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Identify and escalate prescription discrepancies, quality concerns, compliance issues, and operational challenges. Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and other departments to support efficient and compliant fulfillment processes. Participate in training and continuous process improvement initiatives. Support daily operational needs in a high-volume prescription fulfillment environment. Qualifications Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required. Previous retail, mail-order, or prescription fulfillment pharmacy experience preferred. Strong knowledge of prescription processing, medication verification, and pharmacy regulations. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with pharmacy management software and general computer applications.
