Fulfillment Supervisor Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Holyoke, Massachusetts Classification: Full-Time Position Summary The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all fulfillment and finished goods inventory to ensure accurate order execution, inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow management. This position provides direct supervision of fulfillment personnel, coordinates transportation logistics, manages finished goods inventory, and serves as a key liaison between Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory management, order fulfillment, and team leadership within a regulated production environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership Supervise, train, coach, and mentor fulfillment team members. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment. Manage daily workload distribution and staffing priorities. Assess labor needs and advocate for additional resources when necessary to support operational goals. Optimize labor utilization during slower periods by assigning productive tasks such as: Inventory cycle counts Swag box preparation Warehouse organization and cleaning Cross-department support as needed Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and safe operating procedures. Fulfillment Operations Oversee daily order fulfillment activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders. Coordinate and communicate daily with transportation partners regarding order scheduling and delivery logistics. Ensure all outbound orders receive a secondary audit prior to shipment. Monitor and track fulfillment KPIs. Monitor departmental supply levels and request replenishment as needed. Inventory Operations Oversee the final creation and release of finished goods inventory. Ensure finished products are accurately scanned and packaged within inventory management systems. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Conduct routine and scheduled cycle counts. Maintain accurate inventory records across METRC, ERP systems, and internal databases. Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of cannabis and non-cannabis inventory. Maintain warehouse organization standards that allow inventory to be easily located, accessed, and counted. Compliance and Regulatory Operations Ensure all fulfillment and inventory activities comply with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations and company SOPs. Maintain accurate records relating to inventory movements, package creation, transfers, manifests, and order fulfillment activities. Support internal audits and compliance reviews. Assist with CCC inspections and regulatory inquiries as needed. Ensure product traceability and chain-of-custody requirements are maintained at all times. Identify and communicate compliance concerns to management and assist in developing corrective actions. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 21+ Years of age Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fulfillment, inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics. Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing inventory systems and operational software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all required Massachusetts cannabis agent registrations. Preferred Cannabis industry experience. Experience with METRC. Experience with ERP systems and inventory management platforms. Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
