Fulfillment Picker/Packer

Job Description The Fulfillment Picker and Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, and warehouse safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, productive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Order Picking Review customer orders using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanner, or pick ticket. Accurately locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations. Verify item numbers, descriptions, quantities, and lot numbers when applicable. Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation procedures when required. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and missing items to supervisors. Meet established picking productivity and accuracy standards. Order Packing and Shipping Preparation Pack customer orders according to specific customer requirements and standard operating procedures. Select appropriate boxes, packaging materials, and protective supplies. Verify order accuracy before sealing packages. Apply shipping labels, packing slips, barcodes, and other required documentation. Prepare orders for parcel, LTL, FTL, or other designated shipping methods. Ensure packages are properly secured and staged in the correct shipping area. Warehouse Operations Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Replenish picking locations as needed. Properly handle products to prevent damage or loss. Follow customer-specific fulfillment requirements and warehouse procedures. Communicate order issues, delays, and operational concerns to supervisors. Safety and Quality Follow all OSHA, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures. Properly use warehouse equipment and material-handling tools. Maintain accurate inventory and order records. Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, and workplace incidents. Maintain a strong focus on order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or fulfillment experience preferred. Ability to read and understand order tickets, product labels, and shipping documentation. Basic computer and RF scanner skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift products. Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized. Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment where multiple customers, products, order types, and shipping requirements may be handled daily.
