FULFILLMENT OPERATIONS MANAGER Department: Warehouse Reports To: Director of Operations Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Full-Time POSITION SUMMARY The Fulfillment Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operation while ensuring customer orders are accurately planned, prioritized, and fulfilled on time. This position combines hands-on warehouse leadership with inventory control, order management, planning, and problem-solving. The Fulfillment Operations Manager will oversee the Warehouse Supervisor and warehouse team, establish daily priorities, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate closely with Production, Packaging, Customer Service, and other departments to maintain an efficient flow of products and orders. This is a hybrid office and warehouse floor based position, with a strong focus on planning, inventory management, order fulfilment, coordination, and administrative responsibilities. However, the Fulfillment Operations Manager is expected to maintain an active presence in the warehouse and provide hands-on support when operational needs require it. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can take ownership of warehouse operations while also understanding the administrative and analytical side of inventory and order fulfillment. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing office-based responsibilities with hands-on involvement in warehouse operations as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOrder Management & Fulfillment Actively process customer and wholesale orders, including reviewing order details, generating required documentations, and completing other day-to-day order processing tasks as needed. Actively processing, tracking, prioritizing, and fulfillment of wholesale and customer orders. Monitor and process order demand across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Faire, Airgoods, wholesale and other sales channels. Ensure orders are prioritized appropriately based on customer requirements, inventory availability, and shipping deadlines. Identify potential fulfillment problems before they impact customers. Troubleshoot order, inventory, shipping, and fulfillment issues and determine appropriate solutions. Coordinate with Customer Service regarding order status, product availability, delays, and other fulfillment concerns. Ensure the warehouse team has clear direction regarding daily and upcoming fulfillment priorities. Warehouse Leadership & Operations Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Supervise and support the Warehouse Supervisor and warehouse employees. Establish clear daily priorities and communicate expectations to the warehouse team. Provide direction when operational issues arise and ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively. Monitor workload and adjust staffing and priorities based on business needs. Coach and develop the Warehouse Supervisor and warehouse employees. Hold employees accountable for not following established warehouse procedures. Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, accuracy, and workflow. Inventory Control & Planning Maintain accurate visibility of available, committed, and incoming inventory. Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, discrepancies, or fulfillment risks. Determine inventory allocation when multiple orders or sales channels are competing for available products. Investigate inventory discrepancies and establish corrective actions when necessary. Ensure inventory counts, transactions, and warehouse records are accurate and completed on time. Support cycle counts and physical inventory processes. Develop and maintain inventory and fulfillment reports to support operational decision-making. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Production and Packaging to understand incoming inventory and expected completion dates.…
