ConfidentialFulfillment Operations Lead Position Summary The Fulfillment Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and supporting the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of products to customers and designated locations. This role combines warehouse leadership, inventory management, order fulfillment, and local delivery responsibilities to ensure the efficient movement of products from receiving through final delivery. The Operations Lead provides leadership and direction to warehouse associates, coordinates daily workflow and staffing, manages inventory and fulfillment activities, prepares products for delivery, and personally performs deliveries as needed. The role serves as a key point of contact between warehouse staff, management, transportation, inventory, customer service, and other operational teams to maintain smooth and timely execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations · Lead and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, unloading, put-away, inventory movement, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and order fulfillment. · Supervise, coach, and support warehouse employees to promote productivity, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. · Assign daily tasks and priorities based on workload, staffing levels, customer requirements, delivery schedules, and operational deadlines. · Monitor warehouse workflow and productivity to ensure orders and operational activities are completed accurately and on schedule. · Maintain accurate inventory through proper receiving, storage, cycle counting, transfers, product movement, and inventory control procedures. · Investigate inventory discrepancies, damaged products, order issues, and other operational exceptions and implement corrective actions as needed. · Ensure products are properly picked, packed, labeled, staged, and prepared for scheduled deliveries. · Maintain warehouse equipment, tools, vehicles, and work areas in a safe, clean, organized, and operational condition. · Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established warehouse procedures. · Conduct or support employee training, onboarding, performance coaching, and cross-training initiatives. · Monitor key operational metrics, including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and safety performance. 2. Delivery & Transportation · Perform local deliveries of products to customers, job sites, company locations, or other designated destinations as required. · Safely load, secure, transport, unload, and deliver products while protecting inventory from damage. · Verify products, quantities, and delivery documentation before departing the warehouse. · Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while meeting established delivery windows and customer requirements. · Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. · Complete delivery documentation, signatures, proof of delivery, and other required records accurately and in a timely manner. · Communicate professionally with customers and delivery contacts and provide positive customer experience. · Report delivery issues, damaged products, shortages, delays, or other exceptions to management promptly. · Coordinate delivery schedules and priorities with warehouse and operations teams to ensure products are staged and ready on time. · Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and handling products using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices. · Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and basic operating condition of company delivery vehicles. 3.
