Role Description The Fulfillment Manager / Warehouse Operations Analyst / Supply Chain Coordinator manages and improves the flow of goods from inbound receipt through storage, order processing, packing, dispatch, and delivery. This role ensures that fulfilment activities are accurate, efficient, cost-effective, safe, and aligned with customer-service, inventory, and business-performance requirements. The position works closely with Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Customer Service, E-commerce, Finance, Quality, Technology, and third-party logistics providers. Responsibilities include monitoring order volumes, coordinating warehouse capacity and labour, maintaining inventory accuracy, reviewing shipping performance, resolving operational exceptions, managing supplier and carrier relationships, and supporting process-improvement initiatives. At leadership level, the role establishes operational standards, performance metrics, staffing plans, reporting processes, and continuous-improvement programmes. It uses data to identify bottlenecks, reduce fulfilment costs, improve order accuracy and delivery speed, strengthen inventory control, and ensure that warehouse and supply-chain operations can scale with business demand. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience in warehouse operations, fulfilment, distribution, inventory management, logistics coordination, supply chain, or a related field. Proven experience managing or supporting inbound receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and order-fulfilment processes. Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory-control methods, order management, stock accuracy, cycle counting, and dispatch operations. Experience working with warehouse-management systems, enterprise-resource-planning systems, order-management systems, transportation-management systems, or e-commerce platforms. Ability to analyse fulfilment metrics such as order accuracy, pick rate, packing productivity, turnaround time, inventory variance, shipping cost, and on-time delivery. Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight carriers, courier partners, 3PL providers, warehouses, customer-service teams, and internal stakeholders. Strong understanding of inventory planning, demand fluctuations, replenishment, stock availability, capacity management, and service-level requirements. Experience managing labour planning, shift schedules, workforce productivity, training, and safe working practices is advantageous. Ability to investigate operational issues, shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, damages, returns, and customer-order exceptions. Knowledge of warehouse health and safety, quality standards, security procedures, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, reporting dashboards, and data-analysis tools; experience with Power BI or similar tools is advantageous. Experience supporting process improvement, lean operations, automation, warehouse layout optimisation, or systems implementation is an advantage. Strong communication, stakeholder-management, prioritisation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills. High attention to detail, operational judgement, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
