ABOUT THE JOB At Nice Winery, our Fulfillment Associates are physically fit, hardworking, ambitious professionals who take genuine pride in their work. Operating comfortably in dynamic warehouse environments with varying temperature conditions, Fulfillment Associates spend shifts on their feet ensuring every order is handled with care and precision. This role is responsible for fulfilling customer and club member orders with absolute accuracy and speed, preparing shipping cartons with neat and straight labeling, managing proper temperature-controlled wine storage, and assisting with monthly inventory counts. Working closely with warehouse leadership, the Fulfillment Associate plays a vital back-of-house role in upholding Nice Winery's high standards for quality and presentation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Order Fulfillment & Shipping Logistics Fulfill customer, web, and club orders accurately and efficiently to support outstanding customer satisfaction. Pack orders neatly and close cartons securely, ensuring all packages meet Nice Winery's quality standards. Apply customer shipping labels and logos neatly and straight on all outgoing boxes. Ensure all outgoing wine shipments include appropriate marketing materials and collateral associated with the order. Support club processing by setting up the fulfillment area prior to monthly club shipment cycles. Identify, document, and report damaged, lost, or missing merchandise immediately to the supervisor. Make periodic deliveries to commercial accounts or individual customers as business needs arise. Inventory Management & Storage Assist in storing wine properly, maintaining vigilance over temperature and heat controls critical to wine quality. Receive, store, handle, organize, and move wine, packaging supplies, and operational materials. Assist warehouse staff in receiving and verifying large freight and wine shipments with accuracy. Conduct monthly inventory counts of wine bottles, cases, and dry goods to assist in generating monthly operational reports. Track dry goods inventory levels and notify supervisors when reorders are necessary. Systems Tracking & Operations Use basic Excel spreadsheets to track monthly packing progress, club orders, and add-on sales. Maintain real-time accuracy in online systems to reflect exact fulfillment and shipment status for customer tracking. Perform Back-of-House opening and closing checklist duties systematically. Assist in maintaining facility aesthetics and readiness to receive guests, including running orders to the retail area and greeting guests warmly when needed. Follow all employee handbook guidelines, safety protocols, and operational workflows. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills & Expectations High level of accuracy, neatness, and efficiency in packing, labeling, and handling merchandise. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and online inventory/tracking systems. (Required) Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to take direction and work productively. Basic customer service skills and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests or making deliveries. High commitment to quality control and product care. Certified Forklift operator preferred.
