Fulfillment and Production Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fulfillment and Production Specialist to help launch our hardware fulfilment team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient fulfilment, occasional assembly, packaging, and delivery of products while adhering to safety standards and quality protocols. Your expertise will help streamline processes, improve workflow, and maintain high standards of fulfillment and customer product guarantee. Duties Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components throughout the production floor Interpret product, customer, manufacturing documents and process instructions. Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and team-focused Accurately identify hardware, parts, and components based on customer specifications, drawings, and work orders Measure, verify, and document part dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools Assemble, kit, or stage hardware according to customer requirements and internal production standards Review customer delivery requests, due dates, and special instructions to ensure all orders are fulfilled appropriately and on time Maintain organized inventory of hardware, parts, and packaging materials; report shortages or discrepancies Prepare completed hardware kits for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and documentation Perform quality checks to confirm correct part counts, measurements, and specifications before release Communicate with production, scheduling, and shipping teams to coordinate as necessary and resolve any issues Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with company procedures and safety guidelines Use Amtech manufacturing software to update order status, record measurements, and track completed work -we will train Insist on exceptional customer service: quality, on-time delivery, and excellent customer relations Use of hand tools, mechanical skills, and manual handling techniques in line with safety protocols Manage occasional heavier lifting tasks with proper equipment to ensure efficiency and safety in material handling Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify process improvements and reduce waste across production lines Collaborate with team members to manage production schedules, monitor workflow, and meet daily output targets Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to maintain optimal operation and safety compliance Requirements Experience working with hardware and/or in a factory or manufacturing facility environment with hands-on fulfillment or production responsibilities Basic mechanical abilities with the ability to interpret basic drawings of hardware and order fulfilment documentation Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and manual handling equipment Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a busy production setting Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and safety protocol adherence Excellent communication skills for interpreting basic technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members Prior experience managing or supporting production, fulfilment or assembly teams is a plus Proven ability to learn and utilize applicable software, and Microsoft Office for company-wide communication such as email Join us as a Fulfillment and Production Specialist where your skills will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products efficiently!
