Fuel Truck Driver

Position Description The Fuel Truck Driver safely delivers fuel to equipment and vehicles across multiple job sites, then assists the shop and mechanics once rounds are complete. This role supports crews with dependable fueling and shop support to keep projects on schedule. Key Responsibilities · Operate the fuel truck to deliver diesel and gasoline to job site equipment. · Fuel heavy equipment, vehicles, and tanks according to the daily fueling route. · Follow all fuel handling, spill prevention, and hazardous materials procedures. · Inspect fuel truck, hoses, and pumps and report any leaks or issues. · Assist mechanics with repairs, parts retrieval, and equipment servicing. · Perform basic maintenance on equipment. · Maintain vehicle cleanliness and keep parts, tools, and supplies organized. · Any additional task or projects assigned by the supervisor. Skills & Qualifications · Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with tanker and hazmat endorsements. · Candidate must possess a TWIC or SWSC card or be willing to obtain one. · Minimum 1-3 years of fuel delivery, truck driving, or shop experience. · Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe fuel handling procedures. · Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools. · Sound judgement to handle fuel safely and respond quickly to spills or hazards. · Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather. · Ability to manage time and shift between route work and shop duties. · Must complete a drug screening and background check prior to employment.
