Benefits of Driving with Generations Transport · Home Every Night · Competitive Wages · Matching 401K · Flexible Health Plan · Sign on Bonus · Drive Modern Equipment · Vacation and Paid Time Off · Work at a Family Focused Company Responsibilities · Transport petroleum products over land to and from fuel terminals, company tanks, customer tanks, and other locations as needed in a safe and timely manner · Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues · Plan routes and meet delivery schedules · Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts · Complete proper documentation to record each stage of the loading and unloading process · Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures · Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions · Collect and verify delivery instructions · Report defects, accidents, or violations · Other responsibilities as needed Skills · Proven work experience as a truck driver · Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) · Ability to drive regularly for long hours · Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations · No recent moving or driving violations · Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) · Valid truck driving license with hazmat endorsement Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Work Location: In person
