Job Requirements:
• Must possess current Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazardous material and tank endorsements.
• Must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• At least one year of verifiable over the road Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months required. Tank experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations that apply to the operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle in interstate and intrastate commerce is required.
• Understanding of state motor vehicle laws and knowledge of DOT rules and regulations governing the operation and maintenance of equipment in which assigned.
• Knowledge of equipment, procedures and strategies to maintain safe operation of the vehicle.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) regulations.
• Ability to drive for long periods.
• Capable of quickly adjusting the controls of the vehicle to maintain control and perform safe driving.
• Functional reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, and stoop.
• Must be able to reach and lift above shoulder level. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Wage Range: 30.00 - 40.40 per hour
