Role Description The Fuel Dispatcher is a full-time, on-site role based in Pensacola, Fl. responsible for coordinating and scheduling fuel deliveries to meet customer and operational requirements. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and prioritizing orders, assigning routes and loads to drivers, and monitoring delivery status to ensure on-time performance. The role involves communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, adjust schedules, and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities. The Fuel Dispatcher updates logistics systems, tracks fuel inventory and usage, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable transportation and safety regulations. This role also supports incident reporting, assists with route optimization to improve efficiency, and contributes to a safe, organized dispatch office environment. Qualifications Strong logistics, scheduling, and route coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and priorities. Proficiency in dispatch or transportation management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry). Clear communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and team members, including professional phone and written communication. Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records, documentation, and inventory-related information. Understanding of transportation safety practices and basic knowledge of fuel or petroleum distribution is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Pensacola, Fl. including occasional extended hours or schedule flexibility based on operational needs. Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, trucking, or fuel delivery operations preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is a plus.
