Fuel Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Class B cargo tanker fuel delivery trucks. The candidate will need to hold a up to date Haz-mat license endorsement as well as a current medical card. Duties Operate Class B Cargo tanker fuel delivery trucks. Operate both a manual shift transmission as well as a automatic shift transmission. Safely load and unload freight as required. Safely deliver fuel to residential and commercial fuel tanks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Follow all traffic regulations and company policies while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Assist in the maintenance of the truck by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving and fuel delivery. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
