Fuel Delivery Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fuel Delivery Driver and become a vital part of ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of fuel products to various locations. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate specialized tanker trucks while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will deliver fuel safely and reliably, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver fuel and hazardous materials across designated routes. Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety compliance. Navigate efficiently to follow driving routes, optimizing delivery schedules. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during transportation and delivery processes. Handle logistics cargo with precision, including loading, securing, and unloading dangerous goods such as hazardous materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation in line with safety standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for safe operation. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving, preferably with freight involving hazardous materials (fuel oil, diesel fuel, propane). Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat and tanker operations. Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures, manual handling techniques, and logistics cargo handling. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transport. Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tanker trucks is highly desirable. Ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems accurately while managing route driving responsibilities. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission trucks is preferred. Physically capable of manual handling tasks associated with load & unload activities; able to lift heavy objects safely.
