Fuel Delivery Driver

Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely delivering propane and heating oil to residential and commercial customers throughout our service area. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, puts safety first, enjoys working with customers, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. Job Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and deliver propane and heating oil in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Operate propane bobtail and heating oil tank wagon trucks safely and responsibly. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Make deliveries along assigned routes in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Follow proper procedures for connecting hoses, transferring fuel, and operating delivery equipment. Complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required paperwork accurately and on time. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly maintained delivery truck. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers. Assist with tank setting, removal, maintenance, bulk plant operations, and general equipment upkeep as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations. Work cooperatively with dispatchers, supervisors, and fellow employees to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements . Good driving record and strong commitment to safe driving practices. Previous propane or heating oil delivery experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50–75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must meet applicable DOT medical qualification requirements and pass required pre-employment screenings. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and assist with other duties as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
