Fuel Analyst

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Fuel Analyst to join our thriving Midland, TX. Team! The Fuel Analyst will be responsible for monitoring fuel consumption, analyzing fuel costs, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve fuel efficiency across our fleet. This position plays a critical role in controlling operational expenses and supporting overall fleet performance. Duties Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly fuel usage across the fleet. Monitor fuel purchases and identify discrepancies, unusual activity, or potential fraud. Track fuel pricing trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities. Prepare reports on fuel consumption, fuel taxes, and operating costs. Collaborate with fleet managers, dispatchers, and drivers to improve fuel efficiency. Audit fuel card transactions and maintain accurate records. Assist with budgeting and forecasting fuel expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Develop and maintain fuel-related performance metrics and dashboards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with fleet management systems and fuel card programs is a plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in fuel analysis, procurement, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field; supplier management experience is an asset but not required.
