POSITION: FTZ Accounts Executive (Job# 20260959) OVERVIEW Alliance Operating Services is seeking an experienced, highly organized FTZ Account Executive to manage customer accounts across Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ), customs, transportation, and logistics operations. You will be the primary point of contact connecting our customers, internal operations teams, freight forwarders, carriers, logistics providers, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines operational rigor with relationship management. You will work directly with operational data and documentation while building strong, lasting client relationships. In FTZ operations, timing is critical: product launches, production schedules, and filing deadlines depend on how quickly and accurately issues are resolved. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own day-to-day account management and serve as the primary contact for assigned customers on FTZ activity, shipment status, documentation, and time-sensitive issues. Coordinate with customers, forwarders, carriers, brokers, and warehouses to move merchandise into and out of FTZ facilities. Prepare, review, and coordinate FTZ documentation for transmission to CBP, including admissions, transfers, exports, and removals. Track priority and critical shipments so new-product launches, production requirements, and urgent deadlines are met. Review shipment, inventory, and customs records for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up on missing or incomplete documents until they are resolved. Monitor account activity for unusual transactions or open items, and report delays, discrepancies, and compliance concerns to customers and management promptly. Maintain organized customer records, reports, correspondence, and supporting FTZ documentation. Explain FTZ processes and requirements to customers clearly, and take part in customer meetings and operational reviews. Develop and maintain account-specific procedures, and support onboarding, implementations, process improvements, and special projects. QUALIFICATIONS Experience in international trade, customs brokerage, FTZ, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations. Prior FTZ experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of FTZ operations, CBP procedures, HTS classification, customs documentation, and inventory recordkeeping, or the ability to learn them quickly and apply them in daily work. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and responsive approach to customers. Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple accounts, shipments, and deadlines. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research discrepancies and decide on next steps independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office. Experience with customs, FTZ, brokerage, or inventory-management systems is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, or a related field is preferred. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The successful candidate takes full ownership of their client portfolio. They remain organized, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure while managing multiple time-sensitive matters at once.
