The primary purpose of this position is to perform all necessary inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on facility, grounds and equipment of The GIANT Company Perishable Distribution Center (PDC), Recycle and Transportation Centers. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on MHE, refrigeration, dock equipment, racking, batteries, fire suppression and alarm systems as required by state, federal and internal procedures Diagnose and repair the following MHE components: electrical system, steering, brakes, and safety devices Perform facility repairs and remodeling task such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical Maintain lawns, landscaping, and related equipment Keep work area neat and orderly Responsible for snow removal of yard, parking areas and walkways during weather events The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
